Playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Karthik turned out to be one of the most exciting finishers in the tournament, scoring 330 runs at a strike-rate of 183.33. Dinesh Karthik’s rise came as a surprise to the fans considering he had been in a terrible patch of form with the bat at Kolkata Knight Riders. He has dropped from captaincy and then KKR chose not to retain him for the 2022 campaign.
