Innocent girls were taken naked in Damoh for rain and roamed in the village
In Madhya Pradesh (madhya pradesh), this time the monsoon has been so kind on some districts that due to rain, there was flood. So in some districts there has been drought due to lack of rain. In the districts of the state which are in the grip of severe drought, people are now making various efforts to get out of this problem. Some similar pictures have come out from Damoh district of the state, which are not only the hallmark of malpractices but also show inhumanity.
In fact, small girls were made naked and given a pestle and roamed in the whole village. There is no one else to do this with the girls, but the women of their own family, their mothers and the people of the neighborhood.
By fulfilling this belief, women prayed to God for rain.
People are upset due to lack of rain in Baniya village of Amdar Panchayat of Jabera block of the district. In view of the drought, according to the old belief, the small girls of the village are completely naked and a pestle is placed on their shoulders and the frog is tied in this pestle. The girls roam the whole village and the women go on singing bhajan kirtan behind them. These women ask for flour and pulses from the houses that fall on the way and the ration that is collected, leads to Bhandara in the village temple.
It is believed that doing this causes rain. This malpractice was once again carried out and in the name of custom in the village of Bania, this treatment was also done to innocent girls.
